ganzfeld.art

ganzfeld.art: a simulation of the ganzfeld effect, in which the screen slowly cycles through saturated colour. Can be experienced by looking at the screen through a halved ping-pong ball, or looking at it from a very close distance and “de-focusing”, or placing a smartphone with the running simulation right on the eye while closing the other, or any other number of ways. Originally a single-page website, written in 2020. Image: class “Color Experience in Art in Life”, Stanford University, 2016
